Dupont! It was fraught with difficulties to begin with and we had to get up to speed with the more stringent working practices that the client had in place, but we did and we overcame all the early issues to provide an excellent facility on time and on budget

I've organised a coach to the Cheltenham festival for over 10 years now!

Nick Henley

Nick Henley - Contracts Director

The best part of the job:
Working with the CDC team, we all pull closely together to deliver quality projects Also, dealing with a wide variety of projects for different clients

Most satisfying project:
Difficult one, there have been many challenges Probably Surrey University ATI Gases, a very complex technical project working closely with the client to install high spec toxic gas services c/w Gas Detection systems within very tight programme restraints Also working with Sygnature Chemicals and seeing their business grow which lead to CDC carrying out 5 phases of expansion works

Favourite sport or hobby:
Football and Cricket – enjoyed playing for various semi-professional teams (when younger!) Too injury prone now…

A surprising fact:
I played in a testimonial cricket match where I faced Ian Botham 1st over – I scored a few runs but I think he was more interested in signing autographs!

Overseeing projects and watching progress from start to completion especially if it's a tough project

I once drove to Portugal to watch one football match, a 3600 mile round trip

I made a record when I was 8, with Kelly Groucutt of ELO; to raise money for the RSPCA, and we performed on the BBC1 5 O'clock news

The construction phase of a project, from site set-up, to hand-over

The best part of the job:
Seeing our laboratories and cleanrooms used to develop and manufacture new technologies and advanced medical treatments

Most satisfying project:
The Institute of Ophthalmology, where one of our cleanrooms was used to develop a stem cell eye implant, capable of curing 90% of blinding diseases

Mixed Martial Arts

A surprising fact:
For the last 5 years I have spent Christmas day on a mountain!

Phil Webster

Seeing the finished product, born out of the lines and numbers I have put on some pieces of paper

Most satisfying project:
My first design project Dage Precision Engineering was enjoyable, but I think the most satisfying is Biomet Bridgend as it is the largest facility I have designed to date

I don't have a specific one, I enjoy delivering all projects

I would say golfing but I'm far better at skiing

I once represented England shooting 22 calibre rifle for the army cadets and won!

Justin Donoghue

The best part of the job:
The people around me.

Most satisfying project:
Canon, I spent lots of time on site during the construction and have probably sent more emails to the end user than any other. There have been lots of difficulties and challenges to overcome regarding the service and maintenance but we've still managed to maintain a very good working relationship with the end user.

Favourite sport or hobby:
Difficult one as I love watching most sports, but as golf is the only one I now play to a decent standard, I'll say golf…

A surprising fact:
I climbed Snowdon via Crib Goch and I'm scared of heights.
