CDC Cleanroom Specialists were commissioned to provide a new manufacturing location for the Instrumentation Group, the Cleanroom is for the manufacture of disposable sterile devices. The facility was installed at their premises in St Mellons, Cardiff.
The facility also consists of a classified transfer room, packing, support and printing rooms. New offices and laboratories completed these works to provide a suitable environment for long-term manufacturing.
The installation of the CDC Ltd, full turnkey facility in Cardiff will allow Gyrus Limited to remain a world-leading company with its innovations thanks to the recent addition of 680m2 of classified cleanroom areas and a further 727m2 of none classified associated support areas for packaging, printing and product research and development.
