CDC were commissioned to design and build a new combined Pharmacy Aseptic Biologicals and Radio-pharmacy
suite as part of a large project which will see the hospital increase the number of tests it offers so that more people
may be treated at home.
The facility has been designed and built to provide Aseptic manufacture of:
• Cytotoxic and similar sensitising injectable products
• TPN and similar non-sensitising injectable products
• Antibiotic (CIVAS) injectable products
• Biological injectable products
• Blood labelling products
• Radio-pharmacy products for diagnostics
The suite has been designed and built to the standard necessary to obtain a license from the MHRA.
