The CP Snow building, which was opened in 1978, is a three-storey building consisting of approximately 18,000 m2 of general teaching laboratories, 600 m2 of specialised research laboratories and separate laboratories for Fermentation Biotechnology, HPLC, Cell Culture, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, and other research related facilities. CDC Cleanroom Specialists were assigned as specialists contractors for designing and building a sterile suite in a restricted L-shaped floor space
